De Linksys Internet Phone Adapter biedt u de mogelijkheid om snel en comfortabel te bellen via internet, compleet met alle features die u van traditionele telefonie gewend bent, zoals Caller ID, Call Waiting, Voicemail, Call Forwarding, Distinctive Ring, en veel meer. U sluit de adapter eenvoudigweg aan op uw netwerkrouter en sluit twee telefoons of faxen aan op de twee FXS-poorten van de PAP2T. Beide poorten werken onafhankelijk van elkaar, zodat u voor elk apparaat een eigen telefoonnummer en eigen services kunt gebruiken: aldus heeft u de beschikking over twee parallelle telefoonlijnen, net zoals bij een ISDN-aansluiting. De PAP2T biedt u een zeer goede gesprekskwaliteit en een betrouwbare faxvebinding, ook als er op hetzelfde moment elders in het netwerk gebruik wordt gemaakt van internet. De geïntegreerde Quality of Service garandeert voldoende bandbreedte voor uw telefonie.
